This Privacy Policy explains how Josiah Akinloye ("we", "us") handles information in the TimeXtension mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

Summary

TimeXtension is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not operate accounts, we do not run a cloud server that stores your measurements, and we do not sell your data. Body-composition and heart-rate measurements are stored locally on your phone.

Information the App Handles

• Body-composition measurements (for example weight, body-fat, muscle and segmental values) received over Bluetooth from your compatible scale.
• Heart-rate measurements estimated on your device using the camera and flash (photoplethysmography). Camera frames are processed on your device in real time and are never stored, saved, or transmitted — only the resulting numeric measurement is kept.
• Profile details you enter (such as height, age, and sex) used to calculate body-composition metrics.
• Bluetooth information used solely to discover and connect to your scale.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your measurements and profile are stored locally on your device. We do not upload them to our servers, because we do not operate servers that receive them.

Apple Health and Health Connect

If you choose to enable it, the App can write your measurements to Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). This is optional and off by default. The App only writes data you have chosen to share and does not read your broader health records for any other purpose. Data written to Apple Health or Health Connect is governed by Apple's and Google's own privacy terms and your device settings, which you control and can revoke at any time.

Camera and Bluetooth Permissions

• Camera: used only to estimate your pulse from small colour changes in your fingertip. Images are processed on your device and are not recorded or transmitted.
• Bluetooth: used only to connect to your body-composition scale.

You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your measurements with third parties for advertising. Because your data stays on your device, it is not accessible to us.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

• Turn optional Health sync on or off at any time.
• Revoke camera or Bluetooth permissions in device settings.
• Delete your data by removing measurements in the App or uninstalling it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
